Can I use Burner outside the US and Canada?
Burner says you need a main US, Canadian or Australian mobile number to use the app, and Burner numbers can only reach US and Canadian numbers. TINE works from anywhere and also offers UK numbers.
Is TINE cheaper?
It depends how much you use it. TINE charges $5.00 a month for a US or Canadian number plus pay-as-you-go usage, so it's cheapest for light and medium use. If you send and receive hundreds of texts a month, an unlimited plan can cost less. Use the calculator on our pricing page to estimate your monthly cost.
Can I use TINE as a burner number?
Yes. Choose the monthly plan and cancel when you're done. A released number can't be recovered, so keep your plan active for any number you still need. Top-ups start at $5.
